Dragon Ball Super Highlights the Heeters True Power in New Cover Art

Dragon Ball Super Highlights the Heeters True Power in New Cover Art

All-new cover art for Dragon Ball Super highlights the true power of the villainous Heeters and captures their antagonistic nature and intent.

Dragon Ball Super Highlights the Heeters True Power in New Cover Art

The newly revealed villains of Dragon Ball Super, the Heeters, are highlighted in a show of their true power on all-new cover art for the series. Before the shocking arrival of the Heeters, Goku and Vegeta were battling the supposedly villainous Granolah who wanted revenge on the Saiyans for what their kind did to his planet many years ago. When the Heeters are revealed to be Granolah’s true enemy, everything Granolah believed to be true came crashing down around him as his world had been thrown into violent chaos because of the constant lies regarding his life—a chaos that is perfectly captured on this all-new cover art.

In the latest chapter of Dragon Ball Super, the battle between Goku, Vegeta, and Granolah came to a screeching halt as Granolah learns that Saiyans were not responsible for the death of his mother. In fact, Goku’s father, Bardock, was the one who did everything he could to save Granolah and his mother until the Saiyan hero was met by the villainous group known as the Heeters. The Heeters are a group of scavengers who invade conquered planets and sell them to the highest bidder. While they have always been more sneaky than powerful, they recently reached a level of power that surpasses even the godly power of Goku and Vegeta.

The threat of the Heeters is perfectly captured on the new cover for Dragon Ball Super by Akira Toriyama and Toyotarou and released by the publisher Weekly Shōnen Jump. The cover art depicts the Heeters looming with sinister grins and wicked enjoyment over the fight between the Z-Fighters and Granolah, relishing in the fact that they are the true cause of the needless chaos the warriors are creating with their battle. The Heeters previously used Granolah as their bounty hunter and, therefore, kept the fact that they killed his mother a secret and made him believe the Saiyans were his true enemies. The fallout of their lie is clearly laid out in the cover art, with Granolah attacking Goku and Vegeta instead of the Heeters, much to the apparent pleasure of the villainous team.

Dragon Ball Super Highlights the Heeters True Power in New Cover Art

The reason this obscure group of planet scavengers have become such a threat to Goku and Vegeta, aside from twisting Granolah’s mind into hating them, was after they made a wish on the Dragon Balls making one of their own members the most powerful being in the universe. Because of that wish, one of the Heeters, Gas, became more powerful than any other fighter in the Dragon Ball universe. Previously, Granolah made that same wish upon the Dragon Balls which explained why he was able to give Vegeta and Goku a run for their money. Now, all three of the fighters are forced to join forces to take down the all powerful Gas and the rest of the Heeters but even that may not be enough.

No matter what happens in the future of this Dragon Ball Super storyline, the damage the Heeters have caused has already been done which is perfectly expressed on this newly released cover art. As shown on the cover and throughout the most recent storyline, Granolah has seemingly shot himself in the foot by breaking Goku and Vegeta down in their battle, one that should never have taken place and one that was orchestrated in part by the Heeters. Dragon Ball Super highlights the Heeters’ true power in all-new cover art that shows why they are the true villains of this latest story.

Dragon Ball 5 Anime Characters That Could Defeat Jiren (& 5 Who Wouldnt Stand A Chance)

Dragon Ball 5 Anime Characters That Could Defeat Jiren (& 5 Who Wouldnt Stand A Chance) Jiren from Dragon Ball Super is one powerful warrior but in a fight vs anime characters like Jotaro, All Might & Arceus from Pokemon? How does he do? Few Dragon Ball antagonists have been as threatening as Jiren. No doubt, there’s plenty who’ve done some pretty terrifying things, like how Nappa tore through the Z Fighters or how Freiza blew up Namek. But Jiren faced down Goku going Super Saiyan and shrugged it off. He shut down Kale after she went into her Legendary Super Saiyan mode. Beating him took the combined efforts of Goku, Frieza, and Android 17. But just because he’s that powerful, doesn’t mean he isn’t capable of getting laid out. This list takes a look at five anime characters who could take Jiren down without a second thought, and five who would get beaten without Jiren even putting in effort. 10 DOESN'T STAND A CHANCE: ICHIGO Ichigo is the truth. He not only has the power of...

Dragon Ball 5 Fan Theories That Make No Sense (& 5 That Do)

Dragon Ball 5 Fan Theories That Make No Sense (& 5 That Do) Dragon Ball spawns a lot of fan theories from fans. While some fan theories involving Broly make sense, others with Frieza and Goku don't make sense. The Dragon Ball franchise is undoubtedly one of the most popular anime series around without a shadow of a doubt. Dragon Ball Z is a major reason why Japanese media managed to break into the Western mainstream, while Dragon Ball Super is a prime example of just how popular the series has proven to be, releasing almost two decades after its legendary predecessor finished its run. Truly, there is no anime that has reached the heights of Dragon Ball in popularity. The series is also notable for its rabid fanbase, latching onto any small hint — intentional or otherwise — and forming ostentatious and wild fan theories that are equal parts incredible and unbelievable. Out of the sheer wealth of fan theories available on the interwebs, there are 5 that are so ridiculous to the l...
