Dragon Ball Every Vegeta Transformation Ranked From Weakest To Strongest

Vegeta, in his never-ending quest to surpass Goku, has gone through many different forms, and we're ranking them weakest to strongest!

Dragon Ball Every Vegeta Transformation Ranked From Weakest To Strongest

Vegeta, the prince of all Saiyans, has often played second fiddle to the beloved Goku in Dragon Ball Z and beyond. This is a shame, as the genocidal-villain/space pirate-turned-hero (or anti-hero) has just as many fans, if not more, than the dimwitted (and terrible father) who claims the role of main character.

While Vegeta has seemingly never been able to overcome his eternal rival in raw power, he has never given up and never forgotten who he is and where he came from.

Thus, we felt that it was high time to sing the praises of this hard-working Saiyan royalty by ranking his myriad of limit-breaking transformations.

We’re picking from Dragon Ball Z, GT, Supe,r and even the movies for our list, and we’re also including fusions since, technically, Vegeta is a big part of their creation.

Unfortunately, we’re going to have to leave out the character’s ultimate transformation: becoming a taller, three-dimensional character who eventually developed the ability to make us cry with his self-sacrifice in the Buu Saga, but only because we’re judging his forms purely by physical strength and not emotional impact.

With that said, let’s find out the pecking order of Vegeta’s various transformations, from the most embarrassing to the one’s that rival (or even surpass) gods. Here is Every Vegeta Transformation Ranked From Weakest To Strongest!

21 Veku

Dragon Ball Every Vegeta Transformation Ranked From Weakest To Strongest

By far the weakest of any form that Vegeta takes is that of the portly Veku. In the movie Fusion Reborn, Goku and Vegeta find themselves up against the villainous Janemba, a pure evil entity borne out of the malice extracted from souls on their way to Hell in the afterlife.

After Janemba makes short work of Goku’s Super Saiyan 3, our heroes decide that the only method that can overcome this demonic foe is fusion.

Vegeta, after swallowing his pride, allows himself to partake in the embarrassing dance necessary to create a hybrid warrior, but fails to perform it accurately, resulting in a botched fusion with less-than-desirable results.

Instead of becoming a supremely powerful warrior, Goku and Vegeta become Veku, a chubby, gassy abomination that can barely stand up straight, let alone do battle with a creature that literally changed the laws of life and demise.

The majority of Veku’s embarrassing brawl revolves around him being a bouncy punching to Janemba, occasionally releasing gas that even the noseless Janemba finds foul.

That said, we have to give credit where credit is due, and we’re impressed with Veku’s resliance and ability to land one hit on the dreaded Janemba-- a hit that did nothing, yes, but a hit nonetheless.

20 Great Ape

Dragon Ball Every Vegeta Transformation Ranked From Weakest To Strongest

Back in the early days of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z, a Saiyan transforming into their Great Ape forms was beyond disastrous.

When a tailed Saiyan is exposed to “Blutz Waves” (17 million zeno units, to be precise), their body goes through a tremendous transformation where they dramatically increases in size and, exactly as the name suggests, they become a humongous and violent ape, with a tenfold increase to their power.

To achieve this, Saiyans need only look at a full moon or, if one is not available, create an artificial one to reflect the necessary radiation.

For common Saiyans, such as Goku, Gohan, and Bardock, transforming into a Great Ape meant sacrificing self agency and a clear mind, not unlike Bruce Banner transforming into the Hulk. In these destructive forms, the gargantuan Saiyans would go on uncontrolled rampages destroying everything in sight until the transformation wore off.

However, for an elite like Vegeta, this form did not mean losing self-control, as he remained fully cognizant in this state, retaining many of the abilities from his human form, making him that much more dangerous.

As dangerous he was, considering the overwhelming power level of his base form being multiplied tenfold, he is even more powerful now, retaining control and honing this newfound power.

The only weakness of these creatures is the removal of the tail, which Vegeta fell victim to. So, despite the incredible power, the easily accessible Achilles’ Heel keeps the Great Ape form quite low on the list.

19 Super Saiyan

Dragon Ball Every Vegeta Transformation Ranked From Weakest To Strongest

For much of the Namek and Frieza Sagas, Vegeta was on a quest to become the “legendary Super Saiyan,” a form achieved only once, ages ago, by a long-deceased Saiyan who could barely contain his extreme power, destroying the very planet he achieved it on.

Vegeta would eventually believe that he had acquired this overwhelming strength, but would soon find out that he wasn’t even close and, to add insult to injury, it would be his hated rival, Goku, who would be the first to achieve this form in a millennium.

That didn’t stop Vegeta, though, and he would eventually get the golden glow and sky-blue eyes of a Super Saiyan.

In this form, Vegeta was immensely powerful, perhaps even moreso than Goku, and he made short work of Android 19 during the debut of this transformation.

For an immense length of time in Dragon Ball Z, it seemed as though Super Saiyan was the ultimate achievement, and Vegeta’s prowess with the form lived up to that promise.

Alas, it ranks so low on our list because there were many other forms to achieve, so many that this once impressive golden luster seems nothing more than a quaint moment in time.

18 "Super Vegeta"

Dragon Ball Every Vegeta Transformation Ranked From Weakest To Strongest

During the Cell Saga, Vegeta and Trunks partook in grueling ascetic training within the Hyperbolic Time Chamber in order to push the limits of their Super Saiyan forms with the hopes of crushing Cell into utter oblivion.

Their training paid off and the two were able to craft an impressive new form. While it didn’t fully transcend, it did push the concept of an initial Super Saiyan to its very borders, and then bend them.

Dubbed an “ascended Saiyan,” or, in this case specifically, “Super Vegeta,” our favorite prince forces the power of the Super Saiyan to increase his muscle mass exponentially, resulting in a hulking physique. His hair becomes slightly paler and spikier, and more frayed, and his power output is at least three times that of a Super Saiyan.

Cell’s hubris almost got the best of him when he allowed Vegeta to conjure up a Final Flash that was so incredibly devastating, the Earth itself was in jeopardy of being destroyed.

Taking a nearly direct hit from the blast, most of Cell’s body was completely obliterated, shocking the over-confident creature.

While it’s certainly possible that a slightly-luckier Vegeta would have been able to eliminate Cell once and for all with that move, the failed opportunity resulted in crushed pride for the Prince, who took a walloping immediately after.

17 Super Saiyan 3

Dragon Ball Every Vegeta Transformation Ranked From Weakest To Strongest

This one may come as a shocker to many of you, and that’s not unexpected. One of the greatest running jokes amongst the Dragon Ball fandom is that Vegeta is so far behind Goku that he needs to skip over milestones such as Super Saiyan God or Super Saiyan 3 in order to keep pace.

While that’s generally true (and hilarious), Vegeta did achieve Super Saiyan 3 in some unusual sources. We wanted to give it a shout out, but we’re keeping it low on the list due to its lack of canonicity and relation to the mainline franchise.

In the Japan-only arcade fighting game Dragon Ball Z: Dragon Battlers, Vegeta’s Super Saiyan 3 form makes its debut, but more recently this form (and multiple variations of it) has become a featured card in the popular mobile title, Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle.

Dokkan Battle, a mix between board and puzzle games with an RPG and card collecting twist, has the most appearances of this overlooked and forgotten form for the Saiyan Prince.

While he’s not tremendously powerful when compared to a certain Saiyan rival or even other versions of Vegeta, it’s still neat to see Vegeta with the long, iconic hair, and electric pulse of the Super Saiyan 3.

16 God-Like Saiyan

Dragon Ball Every Vegeta Transformation Ranked From Weakest To Strongest

Dragon Ball Super has had numerous ups and downs. Much of the series was plagued with unacceptable off-model characters and awful animations, while the storytelling chugged along at a snail’s pace.

Thankfully, those gripes were rectified with the final saga, but one major issue still remained: absurd power scaling.

By the end of Dragon Ball Z, it became hard to believe that the characters could become any stronger than they already were, and that there would be villains who could stand up to them.

After barely being able to digest the Buu Saga, Super asks us to believe that a pink-haired Goku is somehow able to take on a literal god and that Frieza, after training for a few months, could rival that same power.

So how does this relate to the “God-like Saiyan” form? In short, this form is something Vegeta is able to tap into without fully activating the divine Ki which triggers his Super Saiyan Blue form.

Essentially, his body emulates the sensations of being divine after getting a taste of the true power that stems from the godly transformation of the Blue Super Saiyan.

So why is such an immense power so low on the list? Simple: it’s hard to gauge what this form is capable of, with lazy writing, erratic power scaling, and major suspension of disbelief all on the line.

While it’s certainly powerful, it’s barely proven itself in the same theaters as what is to come as we go down the list.

15 Tuffleized Super Saiyan

Dragon Ball Every Vegeta Transformation Ranked From Weakest To Strongest

Dragon Ball GT has plenty of issues, but its villains were not one of them. After the many plots that followed the Saiyan Saga in Dragon Ball Z, it became easy to forget the Saiyans, Vegeta included, were not good people-- they were the scourge of the universe.

Eventually being hired by Frieza, the warrior race would go to planets, mercilessly wipe out every living being and civilization on the planet and then move on to the next.

Even the Saiyan homeworld fell victim to this. Once known as Planet Plant, it was shared by the savage Saiyans and the technologically advanced Tuffles. The Tuffles would become extinct at the hands of their neighbors, but would leave a plan for revenge in the form of Baby.

Baby is a Machine Mutant designed specifically to destroy Saiyans, and this vengeance would nearly succeed in Dragon Ball GT.

One of Baby’s most dangerous functions was the ability to “Tuffleize” the inhabitants of Earth using parasites, and he employs them against Vegeta.

Infested and possessed by Baby, Vegeta goes through a physical metamorphosis, and his Super Saiyan form now has silver hair rather than gold.

The possession and mutated form grants Vegeta monumentally augmented strength and abilities, where he’s able to manhandle Goku like it’s child play (and it sort of literally is, considering that Goku was transformed into a kid.)

14 Tuffleized Strongest Form 1

Dragon Ball Every Vegeta Transformation Ranked From Weakest To Strongest

Now known as “Baby Vegeta,” the Baby-parasite infested/possessed Saiyan Prince absorbs the energy of Gohan, Goten, Trunks, and Bulla, creating a dramatic transformation in the process.

The iconic Machine Mutant red-lines that are across Vegeta’s body become far more pronounced, golden armor begins to sprout, and his eyes gain an eerie, glass-like appearance.

According to Baby himself (and confirmed by Goku, of all people), in this form, Baby Vegeta is the strongest being in the universe.

While Vegeta doesn’t remain in this form for long, the fact that Goku, his longtime rival, sparring partner, and person who he could never seem to catch up to in terms of power, openly admits the superiority of this form is a staggering declaration.

Again, this is coming from someone, a Super Saiyan 3, who outclassed and outfought Vegeta at every turn ever since the initial debut of the character, throughout the entire series of Dragon Ball Z and up until only moments before “Strongest Form 1” was achieved.

That has to mean something in the long run.

It’s a shame that Vegeta wasn’t completely cognizant during this moment, for it’s something he would surely enjoy for the rest of his days: his eternal rival conceding and announcing his inferiority.

13 Super Saiyan 2

Dragon Ball Every Vegeta Transformation Ranked From Weakest To Strongest

If the Tuffleized Vegeta in “Strongest Form 1” is apparently the strongest being in the universe, how could it possibly be trumped by Super Saiyan 2?

A worthy question, and one we’ll try our best to explain.

Unlike the “Ascended Saiyan” form, Super Saiyan 2 is not just pushing the limits of what a Super Saiyan is. Instead, it’s a unique and far more efficient transformation, and one that was pioneered by Gohan.

Outdone by Kakarot and now Kakarot’s son, Vegeta wouldn’t let himself fall too far behind, so he dedicated himself to even more extreme and intense training in order to achieve the true second level of the Super Saiyan lineage.

Signified by a lean physique, longer, spikier hair, and a surging lightning throughout the yellow aura that is iconic of a Super Saiyan transformation, Vegeta’s speed and power were able to exponentially increase.

While we don’t get to see too much of Vegeta in this form during DBZ and GT (and what little we do ends with him getting his butt kicked), it’s what happens during Battle of the Gods that cements SSJ2 above “Strongest Form 1.”

Enraged by Beerus slapping his beloved Bulma, Vegeta explodes into a rage-fueled SSJ2 and, much to the surprise of everyone, including the God of Destruction, lands severe hits and, if you look close-enough, even causes some bleeding.

The sheer god-punching potential of Vegeta’s SSJ2 being this high outclasses everything on the list so far.

12 Majin Vegeta

Dragon Ball Every Vegeta Transformation Ranked From Weakest To Strongest

Vegeta may be a fan-favorite anti-hero nowadays, but when he debuted in Dragon Ball Z, he was anything but. As a merciless gun-for-hire, Vegeta is responsible for wiping out countless civilizations and snuffing out trillions of lives.

With Earth as his next target, he was thankfully stopped by Goku and crew, and after the Namek and Frieza sagas, he gave up his evil ways and reluctantly joined up with the good guys.

That doesn’t mean that the evil in his heart disappeared, though, and Babidi took advantage of it by casting a spell on Vegeta, transforming him into his Majin, or Demon Prince, form.

This is essentially Super Saiyan 2 on steroids, with Vegeta’s latent evil mixed with Babidi’s spell causing his potential to be unlocked and unleashed.

Aside from Vegeta’s natural strength being dramatically enhanced, he was now able to harness supernatural powers, such as incredible survival abilities like surviving severe wounds, enhanced healing, and regeneration. He also has an unlimited supply of stamina.

Then there’s his Final Explosion.

When Vegeta was finally able to realize the evil had succumbed to once again, he determined the best way for him to atone for his sins was to sacrifice himself and (hopefully) take Buu with him. The Final Explosion was an absolutely incredible burst of energy from deep within Vegeta and it totally destroyed himself and (most of) Buu.

If Buu were any other being, we’re sure that he would have been totally eliminated but, alas, this was not the case.

11 Tuffleized Strongest Form 2

Dragon Ball Every Vegeta Transformation Ranked From Weakest To Strongest

According to Baby and even Goku himself, Tuffleized Vegeta in Strongest Form 1 is the most powerful being in the universe.

This is a terrifying thought considering that the man who has saved Earth countless times is essentially admitting defeat. The worst part is that Strongest Form 1 was only the precursor to the far more powerful Strongest Form 2.

In this state, Vegeta loses more of his identifiable looks, warping into a being that barely resembles its host, instead taking on an appearance closer to that of the parasitic Baby.

Vegeta’s once-straight silver hair now curves, his golden armor has expanded around his shoulders and chest, and he’s now adorned with a black bodysuit along with boots and gloves.

Where Strongest Form 1 seemed to be comparable to a Super Saiyan 2, if not superior, Strongest Form 2 is seemingly the equivalent of Super Saiyan 3, but goes even further beyond.

While Baby might not have been the ultimate villain of GT in terms of raw strength, his backstory made him far more interesting the Shadow Dragons, as did his numerous and unique abilities, such as possessing and mutating Vegeta into forms and states that exceed anything we’ve seen previously.

Strongest Form 2 isn’t the last entry that will feature Baby’s malevolent malice.

10 Vegito As Candy

Dragon Ball Every Vegeta Transformation Ranked From Weakest To Strongest

As we all know, Vegito is the fused form of Goku and Vegeta when they don the sacred Potara earrings of the Old Kai. This form is extremely powerful and one of the mightiest fighters in the saga, but we’re not talking about it just yet.

Nope, we’re going to focus on that one time that Vegito found himself turned into a piece of candy-- a jawbreaker, specifically.

Majin Buu’s most unique trait, aside from his bubble gum-esque appearance, was his ability to turn his adversaries into digestible chocolate and candies. When Vegito was hit with this beam, he, too, was turned into candy.

However, what Buu didn’t understand is that this was the “World’s Strongest Candy.”

As proof of the immense power of Vegito, being a literal jawbreaker did not do much to lessen the overwhelming potential within him, and Buu soon learned this the hard way.

The pink fiend was legitimately outclassed and outfought by the candied Vegito, who embarrassed the foolish villain at every turn.

The beatdown became so abjectly humiliating that Buu forced himself to reverse the candy beam just to make it all stop.

If getting beat up by a person who was turned into candy isn’t a sign of that person’s pure, raw power, we’re not sure what is.

9 Vegito

Dragon Ball Every Vegeta Transformation Ranked From Weakest To Strongest

When Vegito was turned into candy by Majin Buu, he was still able to beat the ever-living heck out of the poor creature. It became so bad that Buu had to reverse the transformation just to escape the wrath of this belligerent sweet.

If Buu, the most powerful villain in all of Dragon Ball Z, could be made a fool of by a piece of candy, you can imagine just how powerful that candy would in its true form.

Using the Potara Earrings, the super-powerful Goku and Vegeta fused together to form the ultra-powerful Vegito.

Unlike the form that the two create with the fusion dance, there is no time limit to Vegito’s form.

The only way the reverse the effects were to destroy the Potara Earrings, but that wouldn’t be the case, since Vegito was laying too hard of a beatdown on the villainous Buu, who soon appeared to be more of a victim rather than a malevolent entity.

The most intriguing element of Vegito’s base form is that he’s seemingly already superior to Super Buu. Even just testing out his new body, he was able to dominate the gummy, stretchy maniacal freak.

This was bad news for Buu, though, since Vegito at his base form is just the start of the epic lineage of power he would leave behind.

8 Super Vegito

Dragon Ball Every Vegeta Transformation Ranked From Weakest To Strongest

After toying around with Super Buu and proving his supremacy, Vegito decided to take things up a notch by turning Super Saiyan, becoming what is otherwise known as “Super Vegito.”

In his base form, Vegito withstood attacks that would have likely been devastating for either Goku or Vegeta, and, like we said above, he was able to dish out terrible damage. In his Super Saiyan form, Vegito’s skillset and power level skyrocketed even further, to the point where Buu was in denial of his power.

In a desperate move, and one that likely would have put Vegeta, Goku or anyone else in the grave, Super Buu liquefied and launched himself inside of Vegito’s body. While inside, he expanded and tried to tear the fused fighter apart from within.

Vegito wouldn’t stand for this, of course, so he located the fiend using his ki, and then legitimately beat the creature out of his own body.

Super Vegito even let himself be absorbed into Buu in order to save his friends and family, knowing that there was little-to-no-danger for himself.

While inside, however, Super Vegito separated due to the strange atmosphere of Buu’s bowels, but Vegeta and Goku still managed to accomplish their mission.

All in all, Super Vegito would likely have been able to able to utterly destroy Buu, but friends and family came first, and that’s okay with us.

7 Gogeta

Dragon Ball Every Vegeta Transformation Ranked From Weakest To Strongest

In the Dragon Ball Z movie Fusion Reborn, a demonic entity comprised of pure evil takes over the Other World, changing the laws of life and death, and generally wreaks havoc upon all planes of existence.

Goku and Vegeta need to team up to defeat this overpowered enemy, but prove no match for the fiend. Risking everything, the two attempt the fusion dance and… Vegeta screws it up and they become the supremely weak (and gassy) Veku, who we stated was the weakest form Vegeta has ever taken.

When the two finally do the dance right, they create Gogeta, a force that is the polar opposite of Veku, and one that is nearly the strongest form the Saiyan Prince would ever take.

Boasting unyielding, brutal power, and speed that can’t even be calculated, Gogeta makes embarrassingly short work of Janemba, who only moments ago had bested the lauded Super Saiyan 3 Goku.

Gogeta’s final move, the Stardust Breaker, is just as efficient and powerful as the one who wields it, delivering a quick and painless hit against its target and, moments later, turns him into literal stardust as if he never existed.

That is the power of Gogeta, and easily one of Vegeta’s most powerful forms-- a fact that he certainly loves, but likely hates to admit that it could only be reached by doing a dance with Kakarot (of all people).

6 Super Saiyan Blue

Dragon Ball Every Vegeta Transformation Ranked From Weakest To Strongest

When Goku literally ascended to godhood (temporary, though, it may have been) during Battle of Gods, it was a moment of pure shame for our favorite reformed anti-hero, Vegeta.

After sacrificing his pride by singing and dancing during the abominable bingo song, he was forced to watch his rival achieve a power level that was on a divine scale.

Why Kakarot? Why him and not the Prince of all Saiyans?

Following this moment, Vegeta dedicated himself to training with Whis and was able to unlock the ability to dip into divine ki. While we never saw him become the pink-haired Super Saiyan God that Goku became, we did see him become the next level of that, which was Super Saiyan Blue.

In this state, Vegeta would easily wipe the floor with any of the previous transformations on this list, even Super Vegito.

The power of the gods is nothing to scoff at, but the rippling aura of Super Saiyan Blue makes the frail-looking, fiery-red Super Saiyan God form look like a joke.

With most opponents (other than supremely powerful entities and/or immortal beings) crumbling after a few blows, its power is unquestioned, but it has a fatal flaw: it’s power usage.

Maintaining Super Saiyan Blue tremendously drains the stamina of the user, relegating the form to something of a glass cannon. It can perform incredible attacks and displays of utmost power, but it can only be used sparingly lest you find yourself drained and vulnerable.

5 SSJ4 Vegeta

Dragon Ball Every Vegeta Transformation Ranked From Weakest To Strongest

Super Saiyan Blue is one thing, but Super Saiyan 4 is on a whole other level.

While it’s difficult to compare the decidedly canon Dragon Ball Super with the increasingly muddy canonicity of Dragon Ball GT, the two can coexist going by their timeline placement, the fact that characters such as Bulla are being introduced makes us wonder if GT is more mainline than we thought.

Regardless, we’ve done our best to sift through the two series and compare the various forms to the best of our abilities, and from what we’ve seen, we’d argue that Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta (and Goku, if we were forced to admit it) are superior to what Super Saiyan Blue brings to the table.

Resembling something more akin to a god than just different colored hair, this transformation gives Vegeta a wild, primal look, and even a tail.

While we never really get to see Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta engaged in extended action sequences, it’s simple for us to assume that, judging by the entire franchise up to this point, he’s likely very near the same level as Super Saiyan 4 Goku, who we know is at a supreme tier.

Both he and Goku are godlike beings at this point, but their true power, which we’ll get to later, blows this form out of the water.

4 Great Ape Baby

Dragon Ball Every Vegeta Transformation Ranked From Weakest To Strongest

Super Saiyan Blue is a devastating level of power. It’s charged with divine energy and literally rivals gods. Now imagine that power, but amplified by the ancient transformation of the Saiyan race: the Great Ape.

Well, it’s not exactly Super Saiyan Blue becoming a Great Ape in GT, Great Ape Baby is no slouch in power, and would likely smash the stamina-draining, teal-haired form to pieces.

With the parasitic Baby inhabiting the continuously mutating body of Vegeta, the possessed Bulma creates a device to subject her corrupt husband to 1000 times the normal amount of Blutz Waves, resulting in this catastrophic monstrosity.

As Great Ape Baby, Vegeta is once again enormous like in the traditional Great Ape state, but retains an unnatural amount of speed and abilities to go along with exponentially enhanced strength.

In fact, the speed of this form is one of its deadlier aspects, as it was able to go up against the far smaller and nimbler Goku.

Speaking of his opponent, Goku was in his Super Saiyan 4 state, which, considering the powers of GT villains, might transcend that of even the gods. The fact that Great Ape Baby was able to wipe the floor with Goku’s ultimate form speaks volumes about the insane destructive might of this nearly unrivaled transformation.

3 SSB Vegito

Dragon Ball Every Vegeta Transformation Ranked From Weakest To Strongest

In the Future Trunks Saga of Dragon Ball Super, the constantly imperiled future timeline is under assault once again, but not from androids, bio-mechanical terrors, or even Majin Buu. This time it’s the gods themselves that strike against the nearly extinct humanity-- well, one god in particular, multiplied by two.

The corrupt Supreme Kai, Zamasu, and a Zamasu from another universe who stole Goku’s body, decide that mortals need to be eliminated, and they nearly succeed on Earth, easily defeating Goku, Vegeta and Future Trunks, especially after the two gods fuse into one.

Luckily, Goku and Vegeta are also divine, and they, too, fused.

Going far beyond “Super Vegito,” they activated their divine ki and became Super Saiyan Blue, easily becoming the most powerful mortal in their universe (and likely many others.)

So why is this seemingly perfect form only ranked third? For one, the overwhelming power surging through this supreme being puts an enormous strain on the Potara Earrings, making what should be a nearly permanent fusion dissipate after an hour.

Secondly, they were unable to destroy their practically immortal enemy. Try as they might against the merely-half invincible Fused Zamasu, they were unable to strike a lethal blow.

While they surely would have claimed victory in the Tournament of Power using this form, they simply weren’t enough for Fused Zamasu, nor our final two entrants, thanks to the aforementioned weaknesses.

2 SSB Shinka

Dragon Ball Every Vegeta Transformation Ranked From Weakest To Strongest

So what is it about Super Saiyan Blue Shinka, the form that Vegeta takes when he destroys his boundaries and shatters his limits, that makes it superior to Super Saiyan Blue Vegito?

Aside from the facts that it doesn’t have that form’s weaknesses, Super Saiyan Blue Shinka is the perfect amalgamation of who Vegeta, the Prince of all Saiyans, is.

This is a level that only he has attained-- this is his own form. This isn’t Vegeta playing catch-up to Goku, this is Vegeta forging new paths to power.

Taking everything that has defined him, like his pain, Saiyan identity, drive, rivalry with Goku and, most importantly, his pride, Vegeta ascends beyond Super Saiyan Blue into something that is absolutely unique.

It’s mind-blowingly powerful and has done something that not even Goku has done: defeated a god.

When Toppo made his choice to become a God of Destruction, he was imbued with the Energy of Destruction, skyrocketing his power to a level that likely rivals Beerus.

While he certainly was no master of this new form, and was prohibited from destroying his opponents, he was still a literal God of Destruction, and beyond powerful. Yet Vegeta stood up against him.

Not only did Vegeta go head to head with Toppo, but his Shinka form surpassed the would-be destructor. We hope Beerus was paying attention, because if Vegeta’s new form can destroy one of Beerus’ peers, we can only wonder if he’ll be next.

1 SSJ4 Gogeta

Dragon Ball Every Vegeta Transformation Ranked From Weakest To Strongest

Ever since Vegeta made his way to Earth, he has gone through countless transformations. Some were natural, like becoming a Great Ape or Super Saiyan, while others were spells or mutations, like his Demon Prince form or any variety of Baby’s parasitic effects.

Others were unnatural, such as becoming a divine, god-like warrior, and then going further beyond. Others required the help of a friend, or enemy, depending on who you ask.

While Super Saiyan Blue Shinka is the powerful form that Vegeta has achieved on his own, the strongest transformation he has ever gone through would be that of Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta, which is leagues beyond anything else on this list.

SSJ4 Gogeta is the fusion-dance-formed combination of Super Saiyan 4 Goku and Vegeta in Dragon Ball GT.

As we mentioned above, the SSJ4 form itself is incredibly potent and powerful, so combining Earth’s two strongest warriors at the peak of their supremacy results in a genuinely superior being that has no rivals.

Omega Shenron, the most astronomically powerful adversary of nearly the entire franchise, minus perhaps Zen-Oh himself, barely had any affect on the fused fighter and he was tossed about like an utterly worthless rag doll.

The only reason he did not face total and explicit defeat at SSJ4 Gogeta’s hands was because of the dreaded time limit that accompanies all fusion dance combinations, but even with that handicap, the overwhelming, unmatched strength of SSJ4 Gogeta still reigns supreme as the pinnacle of power.
