Dragon Ball 5 DC Heroes Piccolo Can Defeat (& 5 He Cant)

While Goku, Gohan, and Vegeta get a lot of love, one of the toughest of the Dragonball Heroes is the Namekian known as Piccolo.

The Dragon Ball heroes are a rather tough lot. It's sort of their thing. They fight the greatest threats to their universe and those threats are often world enders. Each one trains to hone their physical and martial skills to perfection. While Goku, Gohan, and Vegeta get a lot of love, one of the toughest of the Dragon Ball heroes is the Namekian known as Piccolo.

At one point, Piccolo was Goku's greatest enemy, but he eventually turned his back on his evil ways and joined up with the Saiyan hero, eventually helping train Goku's son Gohan. 10 WOULD LOSE TO: The Flash

While Piccolo is very fast, he isn't nearly as fast as the Flash. The Central City speedster takes the concept of being fast and takes it to another level. Piccolo is a vastly more skilled fighter and no slouch in the speed department, but he's not really on the Flash's level.

Plus, the Flash's punches get harder the faster he moves- it's physics. Plus, he can eventually manifest the infinite mass punch, hitting Piccolo at the speed of light. Piccolo has taken some nasty hits in the past, but this one would be the end of him.

9 WOULD DEFEAT: Batman

Given time, there's a chance that Batman could probably figure out a way to beat Piccolo. Strategy is the Caped Crusader's stock in trade, after all. That said, Piccolo's weakness is basically getting a hit a lot by people with insane levels of strength, so Batman may have a chance.

The operative word being a chance. Even if Batman wore his Hellbat or Justice Buster armor, Piccolo is more powerful enough to tank hits from either suit and more than strong enough to hurt them. Plus, he's fast and the type of fighter who doesn't hold back. Regardless, Batman couldn't hurt him without assistance and probably still couldn't beat him.

8 WOULD LOSE TO: Green Lantern

Again, Piccolo is a better fighter than Hal, but Hal is used to fighting against aliens who are physically stronger and more skilled than him. Green Lanterns entire job is to take on threats that could end worlds and Piccolo fits that description. As powerful as he is, the ring is more powerful.

Hal is also the best of the best. His willpower makes his constructs some of the most powerful any Lantern can manifest. Piccolo might be able to take an early advantage, but Hal could roll with his punches and take him down.

7 WOULD DEFEAT: Aquaman

Aquaman gets a bum rep. He's superstrong, durable, and armed with Neptune's Trident. He's no slouch in the skill department, but he's outclassed in every way by Piccolo. Plus, Piccolo can do a few things he can't, like fly and fire energy bolts.

There's a chance that Aquaman would be able to hurt Piccolo with Neptune's Trident, but that would anger the Namekian. Piccolo would take it to the next level at this point, battering the King of the Seas. Piccolo is much too fast and strong for Aquaman.

6 WOULD LOSE TO: Martian Manhunter

There's a good chance that Piccolo is stronger and faster than Martian Manhunter. He's definitely a better fighter. However, Martian Manhunter has way more powers. While his weakness to fire makes him vulnerable, there's no way that Piccolo would know about it. Plus, Martian Manhunter has one power that Piccolo has no defense against- telepathy.

Piccolo may be able to get the upper hand Martian Manhunter physically... or he would think he was. J'onn isn't dumb. He'll let Piccolo fight a battle in his mind and use that time to shut the Namekian down mentally. It would be a bit unfair.

5 WOULD DEFEAT: Shazam

Shazam is very powerful. However, the problem is that Billy Batson doesn't have the kind of martial skill that Piccolo has. Shazam would try and punch it out with Piccolo and that's where he would make his mistake.

Honestly, it's kind of hard to say how strong Piccolo is and if he's stronger than Shazam. However, as fast and skilled as he is, there's a good chance that Shazam wouldn't land many hits against him in the early going of the fight, while Piccolo would be hitting him. Hard. Piccolo's martial skills would take the day for him.

4 WOULD LOSE TO: Orion

The Dog Of War is the son of Darkseid. A skilled combatant, he's strong enough to give the mightiest of opponents pause. Plus, he's prophesied to defeat his father in combat and Darkseid is, well, he's the God Of Evil. He is a universe ending threat.

Piccolo just doesn't have the kind of power it takes to put down Orion. It's even doubtful he's a better fighter. Orion would take him down with relative, godlike ease.

3 WOULD DEFEAT: Big Barda

Big Barda is one of the greatest warriors on New Genesis and Apokolips. Brought up as a Female Fury and trained in combat by the evil Granny Goodness, she's known as one of the most formidable women in the universe. However, love was her salvation, empowering her to leave Apokolips and fight by the side of her husband, Mister Miracle.

As powerful as she is, Piccolo is just way too powerful and skilled for her. She could probably keep up with him for a bit, but he's just too much for her.

2 WOULD LOSE TO: Superman

There's a great debate about whether Goku could defeat Superman. Well, he can't and you know who else couldn't- Piccolo. Sure, he's more skilled than Superman martial arts wise, but Superman has fought a lot of people who are better fighters than him and still won.

The thing about Piccolo (and Goku) is that he isn't anything that Superman hasn't faced before. Piccolo may take an early advantage against Superman, but Superman, once he realized what he was up against, would turn up the heat and cut loose. Superman is faster, stronger, and just plain smarter.

1 WOULD DEFEAT: Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman is one of the few people on this list who could match Piccolo in hand to hand combat. She's one of the best fighters in the Justice League. She's strong and fast. Armed with the Lasso Of Truth, she's one of the toughest customers around. Unfortunately, Piccolo outclasses her when it comes to his strength and speed.

Piccolo couldn't break out of the Lasso's grip with his brute strength, but he's also not going to stand still and let Diana get him with it either. His fighting style, combined with his other powers, would allow him to take an advantage over Wonder Woman; one she'd never be able to get back.
