Dragon Ball 5 Characters Frieza Cant Beat Yet (& 5 He Never Will)
Frieza is Dragon Ball's most popular antagonist but not the strongest. From Broly to Beerus here's characters he can't beat yet & ones he never will.

The name Dragon Ball carries with it almost four decades of history, starting from humble roots as an adventure series before transforming into the power fantasy that we all know and love to this day. The English dub of Dragon Ball Z was an absolute masterstroke that enthralled fans from all over the globe, allowing kids to witness sheer awesomeness as powerful characters unlocked incredible transformations and lay waste to any enemy that stood in their way... albeit with some struggle.
One such villain that has become a fan-favorite of sorts has to be Frieza, whose appearance and subsequent actions marked the appearance of the first-ever Super Saiyan transformation — something that has become the stuff of legends at this point. Such was the popularity of this villain that he was reintroduced in Dragon Ball Super... with a shiny new golden form, no less!
However, Frieza hasn't exactly been on the winning side of most fights since his reintroduction, even though — with adequate training — he could pose a massive threat to half of the fighters on this list. However, Frieza's power level still has a ceiling, and this will prevent him from ever fighting on even ground with the other five fighters mentioned below.
10 CAN'T BEAT YET: Hit

Hit's Time-Skip was an absolute treat to witness during the tournament between Universe 6 and 7, allowing us to witness the lengths that Goku had to go to in order to beat the strongest warrior of Universe 6... well, at that moment, at the very least.
While Frieza would probably be beaten to a pulp with Hit's Time-Skip, there's no reason why this tyrant wouldn't be able to best Hit in battle with adequate training and sparring.
9 NEVER WILL BEAT: Beerus

Frieza's disdain of Beerus is something that is very well-documented in the anime, with the once-Emperor having to bow his head down every single time Beerus decided to "grace" him with his presence.
Unfortunately, the difference in power between Beerus and Frieza is immense, meaning that there's simply no way that Frieza can overthrow this permanent thorn in his side. The only recourse left to him would be to dispose of Universe 7's Kai... but after the events of the Future Trunks Saga, this seems to be all the more impossible.
8 CAN'T BEAT YET: Kefla

The fusion of Caulifla and Kale proved to be a massive threat in the Tournament Of Power arc, to the point where Goku had to pull out all the stops and bring out his imperfect Ultra Instinct form to lay waste to this powerful threat.
While Frieza might be no match for Kefla in his current power level, getting accustomed to his Golden Frieza form and maximizing its potential can definitely turn the tide of a hypothetical battle in his favor.
7 NEVER WILL BEAT: Whis

If Frieza can't beat Beerus in battle, then there's not a snowball's chance in hell that he'll be able to even land so much as a single punch on Whis.
After all, it's well-known at this point that the Angels are more powerful than the Gods Of Destruction they keep a check on. Trying to battle Whis would be akin to a self-imposed death sentence for Frieza.
6 CAN'T BEAT YET: Broly

Broly absolutely wiped the floor with Frieza when the latter had the bright idea of angering the Legendary Super Saiyan by ending his father's life. While it was somewhat satisfying — and funny — to see the once-proud Lord Frieza treated like a glorified punching bag by Broly, one can't help but wonder if the opposite could hold true.
After all, Frieza's fairly new to the concept of training — something that he conveniently ignored before. If he regularizes a training regimen and escalates his power he can definitely be a match for Broly.
5 NEVER WILL BEAT: Vados

This inclusion is pretty self-explanatory — if Frieza can't fight one Angel, then he's definitely going to lose to the others.
So, it's important that Frieza doesn't do anything to anger Whis' sister since it might result in him getting completely vaporized from the face of this universe.
4 CAN'T BEAT YET: Vegeta

While Frieza has defeated Vegeta before in battle, the recent string of developments easily put Vegeta above Frieza when it comes to the power they wield.
However, that's not taking away anything from Frieza — history can definitely repeat itself if he puts in the work required to surpass Vegeta... but there's a slim chance of that outcome ever materializing.
3 NEVER WILL BEAT: Grand Minister

If the Angels are too strong to beat, then it's fairly obvious that the person pulling their strings would be even more so.
Trying to cross the Grand Minister is an extremely stupid course of action to take, and Frieza is not someone who would throw his life away in a battle that he has no hope of winning whatsoever.
2 CAN'T BEAT YET: Goku

Goku is the bane to Frieza's existence, serving as the first challenge in the ex-Emperor's life that he wasn't able to best no matter how hard he tried. This held true the second time they fought as well, with Frieza requiring a dirty trick in the form of a ray-gun to overpower Goku in battle.
However, never say never is the attitude Frieza needs to adopt here — his Golden Frieza form has a ton of potential, and maximizing on that might allow him to beat his nemesis in battle once and for all.
1 NEVER WILL BEAT: Zeno

Zeno is easily the most obvious addition on this list, and any person who's seen Dragon Ball Super can attest to why this is the case. After all, the fact of the matter is that the ruler of the entire Omniverse has enough power to obliterate an entire universe in mere seconds.
So, it doesn't take an expert to state that Frieza can't even hold a candle to the immense power of Zeno.
