After the events of the Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie, Dragon Ball introduces a new villain, Moro, who managed to escape from the Galactic Prison. It is revealed that Moro was originally sealed away by the Grand Supreme Kai 10 million years ago, but now, the responsibility of dealing with the monstrous warlock falls to Goku and Vegeta.

While Moro's skill as a strong fighter is quickly established in the Galactic Patrol Prisoner arc, the most frightening thing about him is his magic, which allows him to absorb the energy of all life forms, including people.

Vegeta's initial attempt to defeat Moro ends in failure. After successfully escaping from New Namek, he seeks ways to get stronger and commands a Galactic patrolman named Irico to take him to Planet Yardrat.

Eventually, it is revealed that he actually belongs to the race of Angels, though he's weaker than a full-fledged Angel. Nonetheless, he is capable in his own right and has thus risen to the top of the Galactic Patrol as their strongest member.

Thanks to all the time that he spent with the Yardrats, Vegeta manages to master a completely new power. Under the guidance of Pybara, he learns an advanced spirit control technique known as Forced Spirit Fission.

As the name suggests, this power lets him split energy and then manipulate it as he likes. When he faces off with Moro again, Vegeta is able to split his foe's absorbed energy. Thanks to his great mastery over Forced Spirit Fission, he put up a great fight against Moro.

5 Goku Finally Manages To Learn Ultra Instinct

Just as Vegeta trains to get stronger for the rematch against Moro, Goku does the same by asking Merus to train with him. Thanks to the time the two spend in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, Goku manages to get a complete grasp over Ultra Instinct Sign.

In the fight against Moro, Goku eventually taps into Mastered Ultra Instinct, becoming several times stronger than he was already and completely overwhelming the warlock in combat.

In recent chapters of Dragon Ball Super, Goku's training with Whis teaches him more about the power of Ultra Instinct. Following this, Goku fights Granolah and, surprisingly, uses Ultra Instinct with Super Saiyan God.

1 The Wish-Granting Dragon Of Planet Cereal Is Shown

While Granolah is tremendously powerful now, he wasn't always that strong. The source of his strength is the dragon of planet Cereal, Toronbo. By accumulating the Dragon Balls, Granolah summons the dragon and wishes to become the strongest in the universe.

With this wish, Granolah's lifespan is shortened drastically to just 3 years, but in exchange, he gains a power boost that puts him above the level of Goku and Vegeta with ease.
