Dragon Ball FighterZ When Super Baby 2s Showcase Is

With the Dragon Ball FigterZ character's release set for January 15, Bandai Namco has announced when fans will see a breakdown of Super Baby 2.

Dragon Ball FighterZ When Super Baby 2s Showcase Is

Super Baby 2's arrival in Dragon Ball FighterZ is set for January 15, and Bandai Namco has scheduled a showcase for the new character ahead of his in-game availability. A first glimpse of the last surviving Tuffle came with a new trailer when Bandai Namco officially announced his inclusion to the Dragon Ball FighterZ roster, offering just a quick look at the tools he'll bring to the fight. When his upcoming showcase arrives, players' questions about the character can effectively be put to rest.

Super Baby 2 is the first primary antagonist from Dragon Ball GT, the anime series sequel to Dragon Ball Z. Super Baby 2 enters the game as the second representative of the series in Dragon Ball FighterZ, following the appearance of Kid Goku, a version of Goku that combines his kid form in DBGT with elements of his younger days from the original Dragon Ball series. As the second character from the follow-up series, Super Baby 2 is also DBGT's first villain to enter the roster.

Baby's role in Dragon Ball GT places him at odds with the Saiyan race at large as the last surviving Tuffle, an alien race that were the primary inhabitants of Planet Plant alongside the Saiyans. When the Saiyans declared war on the Tuffles, the planet was renamed Planet Vegeta after their king. During the events of DBGT, Baby is brought to life by Dr. Myuu through experimentation. Over the course of the series, Baby's power continues to grow by possessing the heroes on Earth and absorbing their power, culminating in him taking Vegeta's body as his main host. The form of Baby that is coming to DBFZ is based on his second transformation within Vegeta's body.

DBFZ Super Baby 2 Showcase: When It's Coming & What to Expect

Dragon Ball FighterZ When Super Baby 2s Showcase Is

Announced through a tweet by Bandai Namco, Super Baby 2's official DBFZ showcase will take place on January 10 at 2PM EST on the official Dragon Ball FighterZ Twitch channel. The showcase promises to give the latest details on DBFZ's newest combatant, as previous showcases have given a basic overview of the character on display. The official showcase streams show the character in action, going over their move list and giving fans a glimpse of what to look forward to when the character arrives in the game.

Super Baby 2's trailer showed off many techniques that fans of Dragon Ball GT will find right at home in the arsenal of the last-surviving Tuffle, owing to DBFZ's incredible attention to detail. Most of his techniques appear very straightforward, such as the Final Flash, the Revenge Death Ball, and his ability to transform into the Golden Great Ape. However, one special ability leans into the source of his power, as Super Baby 2 is able to call upon fallen opponents from the opposite team and use them as an assist. The January 10 showcase could give fans more information on this unique technique prior to the character's release on January 15, as Dragon Ball FighterZ's roster expands once again.

Dragon Ball 5 Anime Characters That Could Defeat Jiren (& 5 Who Wouldnt Stand A Chance)

Dragon Ball 5 Anime Characters That Could Defeat Jiren (& 5 Who Wouldnt Stand A Chance) Jiren from Dragon Ball Super is one powerful warrior but in a fight vs anime characters like Jotaro, All Might & Arceus from Pokemon? How does he do? Few Dragon Ball antagonists have been as threatening as Jiren. No doubt, there’s plenty who’ve done some pretty terrifying things, like how Nappa tore through the Z Fighters or how Freiza blew up Namek. But Jiren faced down Goku going Super Saiyan and shrugged it off. He shut down Kale after she went into her Legendary Super Saiyan mode. Beating him took the combined efforts of Goku, Frieza, and Android 17. But just because he’s that powerful, doesn’t mean he isn’t capable of getting laid out. This list takes a look at five anime characters who could take Jiren down without a second thought, and five who would get beaten without Jiren even putting in effort. 10 DOESN'T STAND A CHANCE: ICHIGO Ichigo is the truth. He not only has the power of...

Dragon Ball 5 Fan Theories That Make No Sense (& 5 That Do)

Dragon Ball 5 Fan Theories That Make No Sense (& 5 That Do) Dragon Ball spawns a lot of fan theories from fans. While some fan theories involving Broly make sense, others with Frieza and Goku don't make sense. The Dragon Ball franchise is undoubtedly one of the most popular anime series around without a shadow of a doubt. Dragon Ball Z is a major reason why Japanese media managed to break into the Western mainstream, while Dragon Ball Super is a prime example of just how popular the series has proven to be, releasing almost two decades after its legendary predecessor finished its run. Truly, there is no anime that has reached the heights of Dragon Ball in popularity. The series is also notable for its rabid fanbase, latching onto any small hint — intentional or otherwise — and forming ostentatious and wild fan theories that are equal parts incredible and unbelievable. Out of the sheer wealth of fan theories available on the interwebs, there are 5 that are so ridiculous to the l...
