Dragon Ball 5 DC Villains Piccolo Can Defeat (& 5 He Cant)

Piccolo from Dragon Ball is an incredibly powerful villain (and hero), but what DC villains would he be able to beat?

If there's one thing that heroes of Dragonball Z know how to do, it's defeat villains. These intrepid do gooders test their powers and martial arts skills against some of the deadliest threats the universe can offer and come out on top every time. While he's not the most powerful, Piccolo is one of the most skilled fighters and what's more, he's fought on both sides of the hero and villain conflicts.

However, since joining the side of angels, it's hard to find anyone who fights more fiercely. So, if Piccolo were to find himself in the DC Universe, fighting against the various villains, which ones would he be able to defeat? Which of them would be able to defeat him?

10 Would Lose To: Sinestro

Sinestro used to be the greatest of the Green Lanterns, but he turned away from willpower to the power of fear. He now harnesses the fear's yellow energy with surgical brutality, and unfortunately for Piccolo, Sinestro is one of the best.

Sinestro isn't going to go hand to hand with Piccolo. He's going to defend himself with his ring and use his constructs to wear the Namekian down before going in for the kill. Sinestro is just plain smarter than Piccolo, and that's why he wins.

9 Would Defeat: Bane

Bane broke the Batman, but he's not going to be able to do the same to Piccolo. He's also not going to be able to use one of his greatest weapons against Piccolo- his brain. Bane has no problem screwing with his enemy's mind, but that approach won't work against Piccolo.

Even with the boost Venom gives him, he just can't hang with Piccolo on a physical level, and that's going to be his undoing. Piccolo just has too many weapons to use that Bane can't fight against.

8 Would Lose To: Reverse Flash

Speed kills. Reverse-Flash may not be the most technical fighter, and he may not be nearly as strong as Piccolo, but he's infinitely faster, and that's what's going to win the fight for him. Piccolo is fast, but against Reverse-Flash, he's just not fast enough.

Plus, much like the Flash, the Reverse-Flash can use the infinite mass punch, an attack that Piccolo couldn't deal with in any way, shape, or form. Reverse-Flash would kick things into a gear Piccolo could never get into, and that would be the end of it.

7 Would Defeat: Gorilla Grodd

While Grodd's telepathy could give him an advantage, he just can't hang with any of Piccolo's other skills. Grodd is strong, but Piccolo is stronger. Grodd is used to fighting the Flash, so he can deal with Piccolo's speed, but Piccolo can fly and fire powerful energy blasts.

All together, Piccolo's skill are too much for Grodd to handle. Piccolo would be able to take him down before Grodd could mess with Piccolo's head. Piccolo's power and skill are just no match for Grodd.

6 Would Lose To: Doomsday

Doomsday killed Superman. Really, one doesn't need much more of a villainous pedigree than that. Piccolo is a lot like the Man Of Steel on a power level and probably a better hand to hand combatant, but that sort of thing doesn't matter against the monstrous might of Doomsday.

Piccolo would try everything he could, but none of it would matter against Doomsday. The beast is just too strong and durable, and he would be able to tank any hits Piccolo landed. Piccolo would be able to take Doomsday's shots for a little while, but eventually, he would wear down and Doomsday would destroy him.

5 Would Defeat: Black Adam

Black Adam is a very powerful foe, and he would put up a great fight, but Piccolo would just be too much for him. It's not because Piccolo is so much more powerful than him, but because he's such a better fighter. Black Adam is a ruthless combatant, but he's a brawler. He has millennia of experience, but Piccolo's martial arts mastery make him a better fighter.

Piccolo's defense would enrage Adam, and that would give Piccolo the opening he needed to unload on Black Adam. It would be a good fight, but in the end, Piccolo would win.

4 Would Lose To: Brainiac

Brainiac isn't going to just take on Piccolo blind. He's going to use his considerable resources to attack the Namekian, studying him the whole time. He'll be able to gauge Piccolo's power levels, find a weakness, and buy himself time to find a way to exploit it. Only then would he face Piccolo.

Piccolo has never faced a villain quite like Brainiac. Not only could Brainiac match him physically, he vastly over matches Piccolo in the brains department, and that's going to be how he wins this fight.

3 Would Defeat: The Batman Who Laughs

The Batman Who Laughs is a canny opponent and, much like his heroic counterpart, a master of strategy. However, again much like Batman, he works best against someone who he has information on and can study. That's not Piccolo.

The Batman Who Laughs isn't going to have time to study Piccolo and bring him down because Piccolo would be coming at him. Piccolo has too much power, and skill and most of the tricks that the Batman Who Laughs has ready just wouldn't work against him.

2 Would Lose To: Darkseid

Darkseid is the kind of threat it would take all of the Dragonball Z fighters to face and they still wouldn't be able to beat him. Darkseid is literally the God of Evil. He has an entire planet worth of lackeys at his disposal. If he so chose, he could throw millions of Parademons at Piccolo. And Kalibak. And The Female Furies.

If Darkseid deigned the alien worthy of his attention, then it would be trouble for Piccolo. He's just not powerful enough, and it doesn't really matter how good a martial artist he is. Darkseid is a god. Gods, at least not ones like Darkseid, don't get beat by punches and kicks. Plus, he could just use the Omega Effect. Darkseid is just too much for Piccolo.

1 Would Defeat: Lex Luthor

Now, Lex Luthor is another villain who would try and use his brains against Piccolo. The difference between Lex and Brainiac, though, is that Brainiac has the physical power to match Piccolo. Lex has armors that allow him to get close to that kind of power level, and that's why he would lose.

Picccolo would be able to rip through whatever kind of defenses Lex had in a way he couldn't against Brainiac. There's a good chance that Lex could figure out a way to beat Piccolo, but his resources wouldn't be enough to keep Piccolo at bay long enough. If it came down to a hand to hand contest, Luthor is done for.
