Dragon Ball 5 Characters Broly Cant Beat Yet (& 5 He Never Will)

Dragon Ball Super introduced Broly as a canon character. He is likely going to get stronger, yet there are some people he can never beat.

Dragon Ball Z was one of the first shonen anime to break into the Western mainstream and captivate fans from all over the globe with its awe-inspiring fights, endearing characters, and incredible transformations that remain dazzling to this very day.

The advent of Dragon Ball Super was a much-welcome breath of fresh air for the series, continuing a story that ended two decades prior and introducting a whole new level of godlike power that Goku and Vegeta are constantly trying to attain. The retconning and re-introduction of Broly as a canon character was also met with universal acclaim from fans, who were more than happy to witness the revival of this powerful character.

It's only a matter of time before Broly becomes powerful enough to eclipse other Dragon Ball characters in terms of power. However, there are some characters in the series that Broly will never defeat, no matter how hard he tries. Keeping this in mind, here are 5 characters Broly can't beat yet, and 5 he doesn't stand a chance against.

10 CAN'T BEAT YET: Top

Universe 11 sported some of the toughest fighters that wreaked havoc in the Tournament Of Power. These Pride Troopers were led by Top, who was a seemingly insurmountable challenge that Vegeta managed to defeat only after tapping into the deepest reserves of his power.

While Broly might still not be strong enough to fight a person who can tap into the power of a God Of Destruction just yet, it's evident that ample amounts of training will change that fact sooner rather than later.

9 NEVER WILL: Beerus

While Broly might be able to defeat a person trying to imitate the power of a God Of Destruction, there's no replacement for the real deal. Even at this point, both Goku and Vegeta are nowhere near the power of Beerus, and there's no chance that Broly will ever attain the ability to defeat this volatile god.

Of course, with Dragon Ball Super seemingly building towards the idea of Goku eclipsing Beerus in power, only time will tell whether Beerus will remain undefeatable by a mortal throughout the course of this series.

8 CAN'T BEAT YET: Jiren

The Pride Troopers have already been mentioned once on this list, with Top being one of the two fighters in the group that Broly might be able to defeat with ample amounts of training.

While Jiren might be way higher on the power scale compared to Top, there's no reason to doubt Broly's potential when it comes to beating this fighter.

7 NEVER WILL BE BEATEN: Whis

The Angels of the different universes are generally considered to be tougher than the Gods Of Destruction they're keeping in check, so it goes without saying that Whis would completely wipe the floor with Broly if the latter even thinks about messing around with the Angel.

After all, Broly will never gain the power required to defeat Beerus. To assume that he can somehow defeat Whis with enough training would be completely fallacious.

6 CAN'T BEAT YET: Vegeta

The confrontation between Broly and Vegeta in Dragon Ball Super: Broly is a treat to witness. While one might assume that Broly has already beaten Vegeta and doesn't need to prove himself any longer, the fact of the matter is that Vegeta has undergone a massive amount of training in the manga, to the point where people believe that he's actually stronger than Goku.

However, this doesn't mean that Broly has lost his edge against the Saiyan Prince — with adequate amounts of training, it's very much possible that Broly could best a new and improved Vegeta as well.

5 NEVER WILL BE BEATEN: Vados

The topic of Angels being more powerful than Gods Of Destruction has already been touched upon before on this list, so it's fairly obvious as to why Broly will never be able to defeat Whis' sister no matter how hard he trains.

It's a testament to the sheer level of power these Angels have at their behest — no one in their Universe can ever hope of besting them in battle.

4 CAN'T BEAT YET: Goku

As is the case with Vegeta, Goku was also shown to have been seemingly bested by Broly in their battle. However, unlike Vegeta, Goku had another form that could've easily wiped the floor with Broly if he'd managed to unlock it in their fight — Ultra Instinct.

However, even with this form, it's possible that Broly's training could allow him to achieve a new level of power — if not unlock a new form altogether — that can allow him to best Goku in his ultimate form as well!

3 NEVER WILL BE BEATEN: Grand Minister

Another Angel makes an appearance on this list, with this one being the granddaddy of them all. The Grand Minister makes his first appearance during the Tournament Of Power arc and makes it extremely clear that all of the Angels are inferior to him when it comes to his power level.

After all, he serves the most powerful being in the Omniverse — a person who is bound to make an appearance on this list in a short while.

2 CAN'T BEAT YET: Moro

The latest villain to be a thorn in the side of Goku and Vegeta is Moro, a powerful wizard with the ability to absorb people's energy and increase his own power level in the process. While Goku didn't manage to fell this warrior, Vegeta's training in Yardrat seems to have reaped some fruit as he prepares to engage in what can only be one of the most entertaining fights in the entirety of Dragon Ball Super.

While it might be somewhat shortsighted to think that Broly can actually fight this wizard, his untapped potential hasn't been completely released yet. If Broly reaches the heights of his power, then even a fully-powered Moro might fall at the hands of this unhinged Saiyan warrior.

1 NEVER WILL BE BEATEN: Zeno

It was fairly obvious that the Omni-King would make his appearance on this list at some time or the other. After all, how can Broly even compare with a being that can Erase entire universes without so much as a second thought?

The power of Zeno is truly insurmountable and goes to show just how much Dragon Ball Super has upped the scale when one talks about raw power.
