Dragon Ball 10 Strongest Alien Races (That Arent Saiyan)
The Saiyans are some of the most powerful beings in the Dragon Ball franchise, but they aren't the only aliens who've proved their strength.

The Dragon Ball world is split into tons of different races and types of beings. Since the origins of the series, things have blown into a whole other level with Dragon Ball Super introducing Angels, more Demons, new Saiyan transformations, Gods, and more.
However, the main race that the series was initially known for was a certain type of alien. The main alien race of the series of course is the Saiyans, but there are a lot of alien races that could be ranked as some of the strongest in the Dragon Ball universe.
10 Namekians Have Incredible Abilities Such As Regeneration & Fusion

One no-brainer when it comes to one of the strongest alien races in the series is the Namekians. This race has been around for quite some time, making its big appearance with the King Piccolo arc of the classic era of Dragon Ball. Since then it seems they have gotten more powerful with the main focus being Piccolo Jr.
This race has some of the best abilities in the Dragon Ball world. From regeneration, simple fusion, stretchy limbs, and the power to grow gigantic, it really seems that Namekians can have it all. And if trained right, they could stand up to the Saiyans.
9 The Frieza Race Has Seemingly Endless Amounts Of Transformations

Frieza's place as one of Goku's rivals and main villains is fitting for where his race fits into the grand scheme of the alien power chart in Dragon Ball.
It's likely that this race of unnamed creatures is the second most powerful race of aliens in this universe. They seem to be one of the only races with seemingly endless amounts of transformations, much like the Saiyans.
8 The Tuffle Utilized Their Technology & Knowledge To Fight Against The Saiyans

The Tuffle are a race of aliens that actually mirror humans quite closely. However, what they have over humans are their technology and knowledge. This combination makes them a race to be feared.
The Tuffle may basically be alien humans, but unlike the humans, this race was able to use their tech to hold back the Saiyans and end things in a stalemate. However, they were no match versus the Great Ape transformations.
7 Machine Mutant Tuffle Are Stronger Versions Of The Tuffle

What the Tuffle race lacked in power the Machine Mutant Tuffle, created by Dr. Myuu in Dragon Ball GT, make up for in many ways. Not only are they smart but they have the power to fight back against even Saiyans.
As seen with the infamous Dragon Ball GT villain, Baby, they are also able to control multiple beings and even take over their bodies by infecting them with a small piece of them.
6 The Yardrats Are Capable Of More Than Just Teleportation

The Yardrat race was once a very mysterious race. Back during Goku's return during the beginning of the Android Saga, all people knew was that they had the ability to teach others to teleport.
The powerful teleporting technique already put them on a level above most due to its sheer broken nature, but now that fans have seen Jimizu in action during the Tournament of Power, there is no question that they are indeed powerful beyond that.
5 Recoome's Race Puts An Emphasis On Sheer Power

Much like the Tuffle, Recoome's race looks a lot like the normal humans present on planet Earth. Unlike the Tuffle, Recoome's race doesn't rely on brains or tech, but their sheer power.
This alien race is humanoid, but each member of the race presumedly is born or grows into massive power, with bigger builds, more muscle, and a lack of eyebrows.
4 The Kanassan Can Communicate Telepathically & See Into The Future

The Kanassan are another race that had to hold their own against the onslaught of the Saiyan race. The warriors of this race are quite powerful and are extremely brave, putting up a great challenge for Bardock and his team.
Their powers also make them a powerful race that can be ready for just about anything. Not only can they talk telepathically and use ki-based attacks, but they can also see visions of the future and infect others with this gift. This makes them able to try to prepare for anything.
3 The Race Of Hera Was Able To Keep Up With Super Saiyans

The Race of Hera or Hera Clan is the race of aliens that come from the planet Hera. It is also the clan that the Galaxy Soldiers led by Bojack hail from. They are also the only survivors of this race.
As shown in the Dragon Ball film, Bojack Unbound, it's easy to see just how powerful this race is, with many of the members giving the Z-Fighters -Super Saiyans included- a run for their money.
2 Zarbon's Race Transforms Into A Much More Powerful State

One mark of any powerful alien race in the world of Dragon Ball is the ability to transform into a much powerful state. Zarbon's race fills this near requirement excellently.
Zarbon's race is classified as a "transforming-type alien" and more members of this race appear in various Dragon Ball games. Like Zarbon, the rest of his race begins as humanoid beings until they tap into their more powerful forms.
1 The Wolf People Are Far Stronger Than The Average Werewolf

The wolf people or werewolves are a new alien race hailing from Universe 9 and Universe 7 that first appeared in the Dragon Ball Super series in the Tournament of Power arc.
This is yet another race that's easy to call one of the most powerful alien races in Dragon Ball. From what was shown from members of this race, they are much more powerful than the average werewolf and can hold their own against many others.
